This is a blog post containing all me and my husband's adventures in the world of Minecraft. Specifically,
we are playing the RAD (Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons) modpack! Follow a Druid (me), her Necromancer
husband (Tayvian), and her assassin little brother in-law (Rolan) as they explore this mystical and
dangerous world!

Welcoming More Dragons!

Today, Rolan has decided to fight a giant stage 5 ice dragon, without backup available nearby. Out
of concern and love, me and Tayvian decided to use a wormhole potion to get to him and assist in
battle. We arrived just as the mother dragon had killed Rolan, so in order to distract the mother
dragon, I brought a dragon of my own (Blizzard, from the last Adventure) to serve as artillery and
air support (AKA, the ultimate distraction).
After some time, the dragon finally goes down. In the end, Rolan was able to secure an ice dragon
egg, followed by Tayvian getting two fire dragon eggs (a story for another day). Today we welcome
bhaby, a baby ice dragon, as well as two fire dragons (still unnamed) coloured silver and emerald!

The Birth of Blizzard

After begging my husband 10 million times to let me have the first ice egg we found, he caved and
gave me the egg. The method to hatch the egg was quite interesting! In summary, depending on the
type of dragon egg, there are different methods to hatch the egg. For ice dragon eggs, you must
submerge the egg in a pool of water. After that, the hatching process begins, and ice will begin
to form around the egg. After a few minutes, the ice will begin to crack, and the baby dragon will
emerge! I named my baby dragon Blizzard, and he is the cutest little thing! I grew him to a stage 3
dragon with dragon meal, and I can't wait to see him grow into a stage 5 dragon! I will be sure to
keep you all updated on his progress!

Finished Construction of the House Roof

I finally finished construction of the house roof! Thank GOD. It was quite the hassle, especially
because I couldn't figure out the shape of the roof. Even worse, the bricks I wanted to use, while
pretty, literally come from another dimension!
I wanted to go for a victorian style roof, with overgrown plants overtop. I felt like it matched the
vibe of a Druid and Necromancer sharing a house! Obviously, that means I have to make the roof
first.
However, the Blue Skies Dimension was a lot more dangerous than expected, with new enemies and mobs
I
couldn't handle alone. Nonetheless, nothing was gonna stop me from getting that special stone, and I
gotta say, I love the result! I'll be sure to update my progress on the house!

About
Honestly, we only began this server because it was Tayvian's sister (Kiah)'s birthday. I was simply
planning on playing occassionally, not every single day. But when I began my journey, I found so many
intersting things to do! The magic that was possible, the creatures we'd find...it was the most fun
I've had in a Minecraft server in a while! This server was also my way of hanging out with my husband;
since we are long-distance due to his job in the US Airforce, I like using this server as a way to
connect with and relax with him. Obviously, I didn't want to forget the adventures that I had made,
so this blog is a way to share those adventures with everyone, while keeping track of them myself!
